STEFAN TORTO
Nato ad Atene e autodidatta in chitarra, pianoforte, percussioni e tecnologia musicale, Stefanos Tortopoglou, alias Stefan Torto, è stato coinvolto in varie forme di suono elettronico e naturale fin dall'età di 7 anni.
Ad oggi, ha pubblicato un totale di 15 album in studio, 11 extended play e 11 singoli.
Come compositore e sound designer, ha composto musica per diverse presentazioni visive, tra cui proiezioni mappate, ologrammi e esperienze di realtà virtuale. Il suo lavoro è stato commissionato da grandi nomi come National Geographic, Nike, Red Bull, Heineken, Microsoft, Samsung e molti altri.
Inoltre, come musicista di palco e sound designer, ha partecipato a produzioni teatrali del Teatro Nazionale della Grecia e ad altre produzioni, girando per teatri antichi greci e in tutto il mondo.
Alcuni dei suoi brani sono stati pubblicati in compilation musicali e utilizzati per produzioni cinematografiche/corti in tutto il mondo.
È anche cofondatore e compositore dei progetti multi-performance Zen Garden e Dreamakers.
Infine, come sound designer, ha condotto ricerche e creato suoni e preset per strumenti VST per importanti aziende.
Born in Athens and self-educated in guitar, piano, percussion and music technology, Stefanos Tortopoglou aka Stefan Torto has been involved in various forms of electronic and natural sound from the age of 7. To date, he has released a total of 15 studio albums, 11 extended plays, and 11 singles. As a composer and sound designer, he has composed music for various visual presentations, including projection mapping, holograms, and virtual reality experiences. His work has been commissioned by big names like National Geographic, Nike, Red Bull, Heineken, Microsoft, Samsung, and many more. Additionally, as a stage musician and sound designer, he has participated in theatrical productions of the National Theatre of Greece and other productions, touring in ancient Greek theaters and internationally. Several of his tracks have been released in music compilations and used for film/short film productions worldwide. Also Co-founder and composer of the Zen Garden and Dreamakers multi performance projects. Finally, as a sound designer, he conducted research and created sounds and presets for VST instruments for major corporations.
